Refrigerated vans

A refrigerated van should be cleaned thoroughly before transport of food. It is essential that the food is not contaminated.

Disinfection is necessary in order to kill micro organisms (salmonella or other bacteria, mould fungi, yeast fungi and the like).

Disinfection is only effective after a thorough cleaning of the refrigerated van.

After this, the refrigerated van is to be rinsed with clean water in order to remove residues of the disinfectant.

Disinfectants are to be kept separate from food.
